A star is born! Series production of the first generation of the Ford Mustang began in 1964. Since then, the “pony car” has become the epitome of the American sports car. What made this legendary automobile with its emblematic running horse on the radiator grille so distinctively charming was its sporty image combined with high-performing, reliable technology under the hood.
This package is your key to the automotive American Dream! Build a transparent, functional model of the formidable V8 engine from the 1965 Ford Mustang. The enhanced 289 K-Code V8 High Performance engine produced a captivating 271 HP at 6,000 revolutions per minute, and a maximum torque of 321 lb-ft (423 Newton meters) at 3,400 rpm
The assembly kit uses a scale of around 1:3 and contains approximately 200 individual pieces. In two to three hours, you’ll build a finely detailed, transparent Ford Mustang 289 K-Code V8 model engine. All of the model parts move exactly as they do on the original, life-size model. The components fit together easily, either as interlocking pieces or with screws – no glue required.
